Automotive is my life and history. Look up my name, Larry Sheldrick and you will find my name sake and great uncle, Henry Ford's chief engineer. Maybe that's why I love this stuff and enjoy doing it including the challange to keep up with high tech changes.

 

We offer the latest Factory subscribed diagnostic hardware and software on site with the knowledge to use it.

We can usually obtain any OE, OEM, or OES part for your car the same day or overnight with no additional cost ! Factory connections - WOW!

Volvo® owners will appreciate the fact we use "VIDA AIOC" which is Volvo's Factory Information and Diagnostics System.

We include VW® and Audi® with our unique information abilities utilizing the "VAS 5051B" Factory Information and Diagnostics System.

Flight (as you drive) recording the car's functions for up to 12 hours with rewrite all shown later on a screen for every second your driving.

One of only many true analytical testing capabilities that we utilize so as not to waste your time and money for intermittent / difficult problems.

We offer software upgrades when desired or needed and we are also Factory authorized to supply keys & coding.

On a lighter note, having all this "cool hi tech stuff " makes it nice knowing the work has been accomplished properly.

We accept all work ranging from an oil change type service to maintenance, and when needed, repair. ALL work is highest quality using quality OE, OEM, or OES parts so that your car's warranty is not jeopardized plus the vehicle is always up to date no matter the age.

Larry's Performance Werks Inc. is a Bosch Authorized Car Service facility. In brief, we are very different from other independent car facilities because we were chosen in 1991 by one of the industries leading OE factory suppliers to represent this level of service. We still to date maintain this relationship with Robert Bosch Corporation, europe's largest automotive factory electronic / electrical supplier.


We are a small, personal, strong and stable company serving the Greater Asheville Area for 39 years to this date. Some of our customers have chosen us to serve their automotive needs for over 33 years. This should speaks volumes about our "Mom and Pop" touch we give your car while still offering high tech solutions at an affordable price.

We believe and practice ecology for our planet so we therefore are careful to recycle and dispose of all waste properly from our facility to the benefit of everything living on this planet.

From I-240 take 25N (Merrimon Ave.) north bound. Look for a McDonalds on the right and then a major 4 way intersection. Continue through the intersection and we are directly across from Ace Hardware, corner of Merrimon Ave. and Clairmont  Ave.

On occasion DTC's ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes ) must be read/scanned if warning lights are displayed. Charges may apply.

We will also analyze the vehicle performing tests to find the root problem at a charge approved by the owner of the vehicle.

We are well stocked - if we don't have it, we can get it in a maximum of 3 days if it is on this continent - except for Volvo cars. Volvo parts always come overnight!
